My friends/neighbors are moving out of state to be closer to family. I thought it would be fun to document a day at home with their daughter. I am sad to see them go but I definitely get it. Having my mom come and visit for a few weeks at a time has been so amazing. Not only to have the extra pair of hand but I’ve also enjoyed her company. I think these are some of the moments we never want to forget.

A few weeks ago a client reached out to me about taking photos of his children for his wife for Mother’s Day. I was happy to help! Such an awesome gift. And I absolutely love photographing teenagers.
My first outdoor session of the year was in Aurora, Colorado with a beautiful family. I love photographing large families and grandparents. So much love!

I am so grateful to live in a beautiful state that truly has four seasons. But I tend to get impatient near the end of each season and crave the new weather and colors the next season will bring. A few years ago I started gardening and quickly became obsessed. During the winter months I focus on house plants. I am not a successful with indoor plants. I am not sure why but I have a pretty “black thumb” indoors. Every year about this time I love to go to our local garden nursery. So naturally I bring my favorite model and my camera. We had such a great time inside the warm nursery while it snowed outside. We had the whole place to ourselves. I went there with full intentions of buying a couple of new plants for our house. They are having an awesome sale right now on house plants.
